Peraturan Pengelolaan PCBs diterbitkan

Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan menerbitkan Peraturan Menteri P.29/MENLHK/SETJEN/PLB.3/12/2020 mengenai Pengelolaan Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs). 

Terdapat dua deadline dalam peraturan ini:

  • 31 Desember Tahun 2022 adalah deadline bagi perusahaan dalam melakukan inventarisasi  peralatan listrik
  • 31 Desember Tahun 2028 adalah deadline bagi seluruh perusahaan dalam menghancurkan PCBs sehingga menjadi bahan yang tidak lagi berbahaya bagi lingkungan
Mengingat cepatnya kedua deadline ini dan kompleksitas pengelolaan PCBs, industri disarankan untuk segera membuat perencanaan (PCBs Management Plan).
